Whether the passion which obsessed him would be justified of its works 这里its works指passion造成的结果。形容词justified 意为合理的、理所当然的、正当的、有充足理由的。of在此为on/about的意思，表示涉及范围。让他痴迷的这种激情所造成的结果是否是理所当然的。
