Honorable Mention是什么意思
在2020年高考英语山东卷（新高考全国1卷）的阅读A里有如下一句：
50 Honorable Mentions: Judges will choose up to 50 honorable mention winners, who will each receive a T-shirt in memory of Earhart’s final flight.
这里的Honorable Mention是什么意思？有人翻译成“荣誉奖”，这里的 mention不是提及的意思吗？为什么不翻译成“提名奖”？

Honorable Mention的意思是a special honour in a competition for work that was of high quality but did not get a prize，即给比赛中未获正式名次怛有优诗表现者颁发的奖项，可翻译成“荣誉奖”，也可翻译成“提名奖”。
