if虚拟should do vs were to do

A.If she were to fail to come on time

B. Should she fail to come on time

老师请问，这题我刚开始选有点犹豫，最后选的是B。是不是因为都是将来的虚拟，但（if）should有“万一”的意味，所以比A跟更合适呢？

如果If 从句用were to do, 主句是不可能用陈述语气will do形式的。

if 从句用should do, 则主句可以用陈述语气、虚拟语气和祈使语气。例如：

Should she fail to come on time, 1) we will leave with out her. 2) we would leave without her. 3) leave without her.
