对于MORE/LESS在比较级的词性问题还没完全掌握.

感觉在比较结构中,More/less等这些词用法比较复杂,既可以用作代词,也看用作形容词,还可以作限定词,还可以作副词或不定式符号,用作不同的词性对应的比较对象也不同,请问老师,如下的结构请帮确认哪些正确,哪些错误,另外More到底能不能作形容词性？

第一组:

1):George did more work than anyone else(More为数量限定词,所以这个句子应该是正确的)

2):George did work more than anyone else(这个结构是错误的,More作限定词需要用在名词前,作为形容词涉及到比较对象问题)

3):George’s work is more than Anyone else’s,这句话是否正确?这里More为形容词而不是限定词吧？如果这句话正确,那么

George did work more than anyone else’s能否看成George did work which is more than anyone else’s的缩略?是否正确？

第二组:

1):Have a population of less than a third of Britain’s(这个结构more than可以看成副词修饰数量,这句话应该正确的)

2):Have a population less than a third of Britain’s.这个结构能否看成Have a population which is less than a third of Britain’s的缩略?Less作为形容词看待,是不是正确的？

3):Have a population less than Britain’s.这个结构能否看成Have a population which is less than Britain’s的缩略?是不是正确的？

第三组:

1):Apples 20 tons more than pears(这个结构是否是正确的？)

2):Apples more than 20 tons这个结构是否可以看成Apples which are more than 20 tons缩写,所是正确的？

3):一个1公斤重的苹果除了用an one-kilo apple,是否也可以用An apple of 1-kilo.这种说法？
