1) I haven’t seen as cold a car as this for years=I haven’t seen a car as cold as this for years.
2) I can’t drink as sweet coffee as this=I can’t drink coffee as sweet as this.
3) I can carry parcels as heavy as this (不可说…as heavy parcels as this.
I can’t drink as sweet coffee as this这种描述,而名词变成复数却不可以说I can carry as heavy parcels as this?
所以as sweet coffee 是错误的,就如同as heavy parcels为错误是一个道理。《牛津英语用法指南》明确说明,as, so, how, too, this, that这六个程度副词+形容词+a/an +名词。
1 I can't drink coffee as sweet as this.
2 I can't drink such sweet coffee as this.

He smokes cigarettes as expensive as he can afford.
There are men more intelligent than Mary.
I need a little cellophane as transparent as this.
