老师，朗文词典里查询"otherwise"时，有这么一句话：
He was tired but otherwise in good health.
他很疲倦，但除此之外身体很健良。
很显然"He was tired"是主系表结构。
但后面的"but otherwise in good health"如何分析？

你可以理解but并列了二个表语，也可以理解为but连接并列句，第二个分句省略了he was.
他很疲倦，但除此之外身体很好。

【答】这里的 otherwise 是副词，意思是“在其他方面”。如：Marry has a freckled face, but otherwise she is a beautiful girl. 玛丽脸上虽有雀斑，但还称得上是位美女。（摘自《英汉多功能词典》新编升级版p.1199）
所以，He was tired but otherwise in good health. =He was tired but otherwise he was in good health.
