It has artworks that any museum in the world would want to collect ,paintings by many world-famous artists like Monet and Picasso.

by应该是引出动作的施动者啊，表被动啊，如果这里用by的话，我觉得前面应该是painted。可是这里的paintings是名词，我觉得应该用所属关系的of啊。希望老师给我解答.

省略了过去分词，by提示后面名词是施动者。the book (written) by Lu Xun 是同一个道理。
