"not only...but also"中的also位于“助动词/情态动词之后

即在but also引导的部分中，also要位于“助动词/情态动词之后，实义动词之前”？

如：

1.Not only is he capable but he also could be trusted.

2.Not only is he capable but he could also be trusted.

3.Not only is he capable but he could be also trusted.

如果按照这一说法，那么第1句是错误的。

另外在2、3句中，这个be动词也应该是和could一起放在also前面，即第3句是正确的？

先判断 also 的位置，然后增加几个可选句：

1. Not only is he capable but he also could be trusted. （可）

2. Not only is he capable but he could also be trusted. （正）

3. Not only is he capable but he could be also trusted. （误）

4. Not only is he capable but also he could be trusted. （正）

5. Not only is he capable but he could be trusted also. （正）

【注】but also 可省略 also；also 偶尔可用too 或 either 代替；以上句子，but 之前都可以加逗号。

外加三句：

6. Not only is he capable but he could be trusted.

7. Not only is he capable but he could be trusted too.

8. Not only is he capable；he could be trusted.

句8，not only...but (also)... 结构，如果句子是并列（中间用分号），需要把 but also 全部省略。
