反意疑问句there be问题

There must be something weird in the room, isn’t there?

可否改成There must be something weird in the room, mustn’t there?

可以。

如果陈述句部分有表示推测含义“一定”、“准是”的 must ，后面附加疑问句的助动词通常要与 must 后面的动词相照应，但是也可以用 mustn't。前者更常用，如果单项选择题中同时提供这两种选项，最好选择前者。如：

They must be playing football, aren't they ? 他们准是在踢足球，是不是？（摘自赵振才编著《英语常见问题解答大词典》增订版第五版p.1455）

所以，不能用mustn't there是国内语法书自己发明的规则（的确有语法书这么写）。但一般这种附加疑问句（日常用，非考试之类）就是don't you think?

There must be something weird in the room, mustn't there? （误）

must 表示推测时（“一定；肯定”），只用于肯定句。不用于否定句和疑问句。

这就决定了“附加问句” 不能再用 must。

原句的 There must be something weird in the room，如果不用 must，那就是 There is...，所以，附加问句是 isn't there?
