a piece of data（一条资料或数据）的用法问题
关于 data 的用法，从网络词典查到的用法是：

我的问题是：既然 data 可以用作“不可数名词”和“复数名词”，那如果要表示“一条资料”“一条数据”呢？用什么表示？应该不能用a data 吧？是用 a piece of data 吗？谢谢专家老师指点，谢谢！

1. Take a close look at the number of times that you access a piece of data, but also consider how much of the data you use. 仔细查看一条数据的访问次数，同时也考虑一下使用了多少数据。
2. A piece of data or content is open if anyone is free to use, reuse, and redistribute it. 如果一条数据或内容可以被任何人自由使用、重用和重新分发，则称该数据或内容是开放的。
3. Open Library does not use data records at all, instead, every piece of data is typed with a URI. 开放图书馆没有使用任何数据记录，它们的每一条数据都带有一个URI。
▲data 作为名词复数形式，可以使用其单数形式 datum 表示一条数据。此用法已经很罕见，一般只出现以前的文章或专门需要强调旧式用法的语境里。注意此例中的鲜明对比用法：
An analog computer represents a datum as a voltage, distance, position, or other physical quantity, while a digital computer represents a piece of data as a sequence of symbols drawn from a fixed alphabet. 模拟计算机用电压、距离、位置或其他物理量来表示一条数据，而数字计算机用一个固定的符号系统里的符号序列来表示一条数据。
