道理很简单：the same 既可以作定语，也可以作表语，说明它已具备了形容词的语法功能。因此，可以用“程度副词” much 修饰。

【说明】

1. 检验 much 是否具备了“程度副词” 的作用，我们看看是否可以用completely 替换它。结果，以上几句完全可以替换。网友可以试试。much 和 completely 都是程度副词，虽然程度不同，但是身份一样。既然 completely 可以修饰 the same，那么 much 为何不可以呢？

2. 被 much 修饰的成分，其程度不是“被增强了”，而是“被削弱了”。上面4句去掉 much 后，意义反而加强了。
