中国人要“上厕所”时，通常会委婉地说成“我要去方便一下”，请问用英语该如何表达呢？

常用相关表达：

I need to take a biobreak. 我得去方便一下。

I want to wash my hands. 我要方便一下。

I will wash my hands, if you please. 对不起，我要方便一下。

I’ll just go for a tinkle. 我只是去方便一下。

Oh, sorry, nature calls. I’ll be back in a minute. 哦，对不起，我要去方便一下，马上就回来。

Sorry, sir. I must answer the call of nature—It won’t be long. 对不起，先生，我要去方便一下，就一会儿。

上厕所，较正规的说法是：I wantto relieve myself. 当然你也可说I want to use/ go to the toilet. 当然我们还可以再含蓄一些：

1.Sorry,I need to go somewhere. 您可千万别问“ Where, please?”

2.Sorry, I want to wash my hands. 醉翁之意不在手哦。

3.Sorry, I need to answer the call ofnature. 去回应一下大自然的召唤，文雅不？
