morning前有形容词修饰时的介词
on a cold morning , in the early morning,都是morning前加形容词，但是为什么介词不同呢？有的参考书上写的morning前有形容词修饰时就需要用on，这种说法好像不准确吧？ 请专家老师帮我解答，谢谢。

n 通常人们泛指 【在早上/下午/晚上】使用in the morning/ afternoon/ evening, 注意这里中间使用定冠词the; 人们为了使表达更加精确往往把这些时间做了细分：
Parts of the Day Morning5： am to 12pm (noon) Earlymorning： 5 to 8 am Latemorning ：11 am to12pm Afternoon：12 pm to5 pm Earlyafternoon： 1 to 3pm Lateafternoon： 4 to 5pm
所以，in the early/ late morning/ afternoon就是这些细分的结果，介词保持不变。
n 而on a cold morning 注意其用的是不定冠词，此时若其后带有形容词时，冠词则要使用on:
on a deepnight/ a dark evening
