A: Hungry and exhausted, the climbers returned.
B: Confident of the justice of their cause, they agreed to put their case before the arbitration panel
C: One of the most popular tourist sites in Italy, Pompeii was viewed by nearly two million visitors last year.
D: Christmas then only days away, the family was pent up with excitement.
C. Being one of the most popular tourist sites in Italy, Pompeii was viewed by nearly two million visitors last year.
D. With Christmas then only days away, the family was pent up with excitement.
C加个being, D加个with 就清清楚楚了。
