为何这里regard as要把as the center部分放到前面？

原句：We all tend to regard as the center that special place where we are know, where we know others, where things mean much to us, and where we ourselves have both identity and meaning：school, famil, town, and the local region could all be our center of the world.

以及为什么ourselves以及有我们自己的意思了，还要加we？
