为什么要去掉副词around

答案C.

书上解释说如果D去掉around, 则也是正确的。

我的疑问是：为什么加了副词around，D就不可以呢？

我再次提醒你注意一个句子表达的逻辑！既然the city of Elizabeth 在新泽西的东部，怎么还能再用around表示在周围？明明一个多余的、错误的around，你千方百计想给它找一个合适的位置，你能找到吗？你读英语不注意逻辑，这是你理解英语结构常产生疑惑的根源，希望你能重视。

该命题人为了让某个选项为错误，就故意找一个“子虚乌有” 的错误搭配，或增、删某个词语。

原本不存在的东西，被命题人当作其中一个选项，结果害人不浅。

真正好的命题，四个答案都是客观存在的，只是填在“这里”不行，填在另外一个语境就可以。

网友的问法和题目，也都有问题——我的疑问是：为什么加了副词around，D 就不可以呢？
