今天看美剧有这么一句话,I am starting to feel some tension。学生认为start后应接动态延续性动词,不应该接静态延续性动词或者瞬间动词,显然这里接to feel是个错误,请问老师我这样理解对吗?
start to do sth与start doing sth几乎没有什么区别,可以互换使用,但是在进行体中,以后面接不定式作宾语更为常见。如果是一般体,则不定式和动名词作宾语可以互换。
(1)主语+be starting to do sth(更为常见)
(2)主语+be starting doing sth(一般常见)
备注:主语 start to do sth=主语+start doing sth
I am starting to feel some tension。(更为常见,更强调逐渐变化过程)
I start to feel some tension。
John then unlocked the front door and I started to follow him up the stairs.
约翰接着打开前门,我开始跟他上楼。
It was 1956 when Susanna started the work on the garden.
苏珊娜是从 1956 年开始修建这个花园的。
She started cleaning the kitchen. 她开始打扫厨房。

begin to do sth=begin doing sth
He stood up and began to move around the room.
他起身开始在屋里来回走动。
The weight loss began to look more serious.
体重下降眼看开始变得愈发厉害了。
Snow began falling again. 雪又开始下了
