同意黎老师的分析，这里的 there 可以省略，但省略后意义略有差别。

Is it in your bag? （它）在包里吗？

Is it there in your bag? （它）在那儿，包里吗？

第二句中的 there 与 in your bag 是同位成分，表示强调。又如：

Your pencil is here under the desk. 你的铅笔在这，桌子下面。

He is there behind the door. 他在那儿，门后面。
