I want to express gratitude to you.

此处to you作状语和后置定语语意都正确啊?

词典给出的gratitude的介词搭配为：

gratitude (to somebody) (for something)

说明介词to和for是和名词gratitude搭配的，并不是修饰动词的。所以它们是定语，不是状语。
