您认为within 是错的，在于它不能用于将来时。

within + 一段时间，不能用于将来时吗？我认为，不但可以，而且很常用。例如：

We will return to Dalian within three days. 

我们将在三天内返回大连。

The local steelworks is running down and is likely to close within three years.  

当地的这家钢铁厂越来越不景气,有可能在三年内倒闭。

She will come back home after two o'clock. 他两点钟之后将会回到家里。(时间点)

I'll have some breakfast ready in a few minutes.

(2)within+“时间段”表示在该时间段之内，句子用一般过去时态。

Within 24 hours the deal was completed.  

交易在24小时内完成。

Two elections were held within the space of a year.
