Research is under way to see whether sweat can be analysed for molecular biomarkers.如果不定式做定语修饰的是way的话，那么这个不定式与way是什么关系呢？所以我认为不定式应该是做定语修饰research，与research是同位关系，因为不定式太长了所以放在了系表结构的后面。

大概意思：验证汗液能否被分析为分子生物标记物的研究正在进行中。
