请问一下老师，我试卷上有一句，When I was 13 my only purpose was to become the star on our football team. 中不用in而用on，我查了词典be on+职业表示担职，可它后面是状语，不懂。

on 的这个意义不限于作表语，也可以作状语的。例如《韦氏高级词典》有如下释义和例句：

21 — used to indicate that someone or something is included as part of a team, list, etc.

She served on the jury/committee/board.
