英语可以说force sb doing sth吗

见过 force sb to do sth 的用法。如：
The doctor forced me to swallow a pill. 医生强迫我吞了一颗药丸。
They forced him to give them the money. 他们强迫他给他们钱。
请问：英语可以说 force sb doing sth 吗？

英语中不可以说 force sb doing sth，但是可以说 force sb into doing sth。例如：

They forced him to sign [into signing] the paper. 他们强迫他在文件上签字。(《外研社英汉多功能词典》p.829)
