‍这里的 there to be... 是 there be... 的非谓语形式，在句子作动词 intended 的宾语。there be 的非谓语形式有两种，一种是 there to be，另一种是 there being。

1. there to be 作动词宾语，常见的动词有 like, hate, consider, prefer, mean, intend, want, expect等。如：

I don't want there to be any misunderstanding. 我可不希望有任何误解。

I don't mean there to be any unpleasantness. 我无心引起任何不愉快。

We expect there to be more discussion about this. 我们期望能对此展开更多的讨论。

▲介词 for 之后要用 there to be 作宾语。如：

It's impossible for there to be a happier family. 不可能有比这个家庭更幸福的家庭了。

We hope for there to be no wars in the world. 我们希望世界上没有战争。

2. there being 可用作介词宾语，可替代名词性从句，还可用作状语（独立主格）。如：

No one told him about there being a meeting that afternoon. 没人通知他那天下午有个会。

I never dreamed of there being a picture on the wall. 我根本没想到墙上有张画。

There being no money is a painful thing to him. 没有钱对他来说是很不好受的。

There being no bus, we had to walk home. 由于没有公共汽车, 我们只好走回家。‍
