额，说下我自己的想法，要做对这个题，我个人认为不需要深究语法。

这个地方的 take 肯定是要变型的，这个很容易确定，那究竟是现在分词还是过去分词？

看一个例句吧：

（来自柯林斯词典）If something takes up a particular amount of time, space, or effort, it uses that amount. 占用 (时间、空间或精力)

• I know how busy you must be and naturally I wouldn't want to take up too much of your time.

这里很清楚看到，不管是 someting做主语，还是 I 做主语，take up 都是用的原型。

以此类推，with a single image _______ (take) up to six weeks to produce. 这句话直接用现在分词就可以了，不需要改被动语态。

最后，至于同学你纠结的这个问题，我觉得你要是个学生，只想应付考试（高考，四六级等），建议你把这个问题忘掉，因为没有必要纠结。
