Like可以接句子吗

He faked like he was sleeping.

为什么这里like可以接句子？是不是跟feel like引导从句一样呢？

另外like可以引导句子吗？谢谢老师!

当代英语，尤其美国英语，like 用作连词，已经很普遍。它有两种意思：like = as （像；按照）；like = as if （好像；仿佛）

网友的句子是后者用法。现分别举例如下：

He can't get around like he used to do. ( = as)

他现在无法像过去那样四处闲荡。

It seems like I catch a cold every winter. （= as if）

我好像每年冬天都得感冒。

like在美国英语非正式语体可以是连词。相当于as if.

He faked like he was sleeping.

= He faked as if he was sleeping.
