选择when 正确。

选择if 的缺陷:

1. if 仅表示一种假设,未必人们一定那样去做,给人一种不一定发生的感觉。

2. if 引导的条件句,毕竟是一种假设,不一定真正去做,所以很少使用do + 动词原形表示强调。
