请问老师，下面短语能这么翻译吗？直译一点。如果翻译不对，暂且不理会翻译是否得体，请问老师，这句子有没有语法错误？动名词短语这么写对吗？

会就是会，不会就是不会。

网友的翻译是错误的。等于在说废话。老外是看不懂你在说什么的。

之所以你会这样翻译，主要是你没有抓住中文语义的本质。汉语的本意是不要说假话，会就不要假装不会，不会也不要假装会。另外二句也是这样。因此翻译的时候不能按照字面意义去翻译，而应意译出实际要表达的意思。其核心表示应该是Be honest. Don't pretend.
