英语可以说several clothes吗

clothes 是复数，可以说 many clothes, some clothes, a lot of clothes 等，但不能与数词连用，如不能说 three clothes, five clothes, ten clothes 等，但可以与 several 连用吗？

clothes 前不能加 a，也不能加数词。“……套衣服”可用 a suit of / two suits of clothes 表示，但前面可以加 some, several, a few, many, a good many, a lot of 等。如：
(1) She has many clothes. 她有很多衣服。（《21世纪英汉汉英双向词典》）
(2) She put in some clothes, odds and ends, and make-up. 她将一些衣服、化妆品和零碎物品放了进去。（《柯林斯高阶英汉双解学习词典》）
(3) I took her a few spare clothes out of the wardrobe. 我从衣柜里给她拿出几件换洗的衣服。（张道真《现代英语用法词典》）
