only前是否漏掉了限定词the？

句意：这是自“新概念英语”最初出版以来所做的唯一一个新改版。undertake表“着手；进行”。

表语new edition之后的不定式ever to be undertaken用作定语，相当于限制性定语从句。

关于不定式作定语，《牛津英语用法指南》有如下说明：

1. 最高级之后可跟动词不定式结构。其意义与限制性关系从句类似。

He’s the oldest athlete ever to win an Olympic gold medal. (= … who has ever won…) 他是奥运会金牌得主中年纪最大的一位。

2. 常与这种结构连用的词还有first, second, third 等以及 next, last 和 only。

Who was the first person to climb Qomolangma without oxygen? 第一个不带氧气登上珠穆朗玛峰的人是谁？
