耐心和理解是幼儿教师必不可少的。

What is necessary for one person is not always necessary for another.
对某人来说是必需的东西,对别人则未必如此。

(2)A be necessary to B（A对B是必要的/必须的）

These reference books are necessary to scientists.
这些参考书是科学工作者所必需的。

Sleep is necessary to one's health.
睡眠对健康是必要的。

   necessary 后可接 for 或 to，意思上没有区别。有时后面可接 in 。例如：Food is necessary for（或 to）life. 食物是生活中所必需的。/ Careful investigation is necessary in the distribution of awards.  仔细调查研究对发奖是必要的。

   注：在 It is necessary for us to do this.等句子里，for 不可改作 to ，因为for 引导动词不定式的逻辑主语，而 to 却无此功能。在 Their job is important and necessary to us all.这一句中，necessary 后面的 to 不可改为 for ，因为其前面的 important 只能跟 to ，不能跟 for 。
