1 不定式用法疑问

A passerger will step up and tell me which flight they intend to be taking that day--whether they have a ticket or not. If they've got a ticket i can issue the ticket right there at the ticket counter.

请问这里的intend to be doing 属于什么用法？和intend to do 有什么不同吗？

两者的主要区别是：

用不定式的进行式，强调即将要发生的动作，而不定式的一般式没有此强调意味。

to be doing 是动词不定式进行式，to do 是动词不定式一般式。

动词不定式进行式表示动作或事件在我们所说的时间正在/曾经/将要继续进行。例如：It's nice to be sitting here with you. 和你一起坐在这儿真好。/ I noticed that he seemed to be smoking a lot. 我发现他似乎烟瘾很大。（摘自《牛津英语用法指南》第三版280.1节）

动词不定式一般式表示的动作与谓语动词同时发生或者在谓语动词的动作之后发生。例如：It takes only a few hours to go to Beijing by air. (to go to Beijing by air 与 takes 同时发生)坐飞机去北京只需几个小时。I hope to visit the exhibition some day. (to visit 在 hope 后发生)我希望有一天能去参观一下这个展览会。
