It looks as if…与It looks that…句式的互换问题

It looks as if…句式比较见得多。如：

It looks as if we’ll be late. 我们似乎要迟到了。

It looks as if it might rain later. 看来一会儿要下雨了。

It looks as if the weather is going to turn nasty again. 好像又要变天了。

但 It looks that…的句式则比较少见，所以，请问下面的等式成立吗？

We’ve missed the bus. It looks as if we’ll have to walk.

=We’ve missed the bus. It looks that we’ll have to walk.

有人认为等式是成立的，有人认为不成立，不能用 It looks that…句式。

等式不成立，因为英语习惯上不说 It looks that...。

此类句式既可用 as if 也可用 that 的只有两个动词——seem 和 appear。

It seems as if he is ill.=It seems that he is ill.

It appears as if it's going to rain.=It appears that it's going to rain.
