by the door还是through the door

表示“通过门”，英语是用 by the door 还是 through the door？

表示“通过门”用 by the door 和 through the door 均可以。但稍有区别：

1. 用 by the door，侧重方式，指以通过某扇门为方式。如：

we slipped out by a back door. 我们悄悄地从后门溜了出去。（《新牛津英语双解大词典》）

2. 用 through the door 虽然也可以指方式，但更多是指穿门而过的动作。如：

He sauntered casually through the door. 他悠闲地走过了那道门。（《牛津英语搭配词典》）

Go straight through that door under the EXIT sign. 从“安全出口”标志下的那道门直穿过去。（《柯林斯高级英汉双解学习词典》）
