指代 a pair of...的代词用单数还是复数

This is a new pair of shoes for you. Do you like _____?

请问填 it 还是 them?

2008年7月第1版《外研社英汉多功能词典》指出：

承接 a pair of ...,pairs of ...的动词在数上与 pair 一致，而指代它们的代词则一般用复数形式：

This pair of shoes was rather expensive,but I like them. 虽说这双鞋很贵，但我喜欢。

所以，应该说：This is a new pair of shoes for you. Do you like them?

解答如下：

一双鞋子是有2只鞋，因此使用复数代词。

备注：如果是作主语，其谓语单复数由pair单复数决定。

This pair of shoes fits me well.
这双鞋对我很合适。

Another pair of shoes is needed.
还需要一双鞋。

There are two pairs of shoes under the bed.

床底下有两双鞋。
