关于demand of sb to do sth与 demand sb to do sth的用法疑问
在英语中，demand sb to do sth 是错误的，应采取 demand of sb to do sth 的形式。这里的 of 为什么不是 for ？按照一位老师的说法，不定式复合结构由 for 引出而且只能由 for 引出逻辑主语，构成 for sb to do sth 的形式。为什么这句的不定式复合结构却是 of sb to do sth ？

看了网友的链接，文中认为可以用demand of sb to do这种用法。我查了词典和语料库，没有找到类似的例句。因此这种用法的可接受性存疑。有待其它老师提供更可靠例句。
退一步讲，假设有这种用法，不用for而用of也是有理由的。
demand的标准用法之一就是demand something of someone. 这是demand的单宾语用法，其中of someone是demand搭配的状语。如果宾语比较长（比如带有后置修饰语），为了句子的平衡，通常宾语后移至状语之后，形成demand of someone something.这还是单宾语结构，of someone是状语。也许有人扩展了这种用法，用不定式取代了名词作宾语，而通常不定式短语的长度大于of someone这个状语，于是不定式这个宾语就后移至状语之后，形成了demand of someone to do something. 注意这里of someone是demand的状语，不是不定式的逻辑主语。这里也没有不定式复合结构，不存在不定式逻辑主语由哪个介词引出的问题。提出这个问题本身就是没有理解demand这个动词的用法和介词搭配关系。

其实，上述两个句型都是不对的。demand后面不能接表示人的词语作宾语，而须用demand sth. of sb. 或者demand sth. from sb. 这跟ask sth. of/from sb. 类似。以下句子表面看是of后面接“人”，其实不是。它是由demand sth. of sb. 变化而来的：

首先同意前面几位老师的观点，demand of sb to do sth 这一句式在现代英语确实不怎么用了，我查了一下手头的词典，既没有查到了相关的例句，也没有查到搭配。
但是，我在葛传椝的《英语惯用法词典》上查到了以下用法：
……demand（动词）不可把指被要求的人的词做宾语，如不可说 I shall demand him for an answer 或 I shall demand him to answer，该说 I shall demand of him to answer 或 I shall demand an answer of him 或 I shall demand that he shall（或should）answer 或 I shall demand that he answer （不用answers）。
可见，葛传椝的《英语惯用法词典》认为是可以用 demand of sb to do sth 的，但这一用法在现代英语中可能过时了，所以一般词典都不收录了。
