动词不定式常用来作定语。例如，我们常说：

I have something to do. 

We have an important meeting to attend. 

She has three children to take care of.

He has many things to be concerned about.

表示“有无感到愧疚的东西”：

There is nothing to be ashamed of.  没有什么可难为情的。

She knows she has something to be ashamed of. 她知道她内心有感到羞愧的东西。

He has done nothing to be ashamed of.  他从未做过亏心的事情。

in having no money，“因手头拮据”。in doing...表示“在......方面；因做了什么”。
