有人说Come to sit beside me. 是一个错句，请问错在哪了？

(1)Come to sit beside me(一般不接不定时表目的)

(2)Come and sit beside me(连接2个并列谓语）

特别备注如下：

(1) come在祈使句中一般不接动词不定式表示目的,而多用“come and do sth”结构,在美式英语中,尤其是口语中and常可省略.

Come and have some food.   
来吃点儿东西。

Come and have a drink.   
来喝一杯(酒)!

Do come and see us often.   
要常常来看我们。

(2)“come+静态动词的不定式”构成复合谓语,可表示一种情况变化的过程,如由“不知”到“知之”,由“不清楚”到“清楚”,由“不理解”到“理解”,即给静态动词一个起点,而使其具有动态意义,且具有“终于”的意味。

The car skidded off the road and came to rest in a field.   

汽车滑出公路,在田里停了下来。

When did you come to know him?

I have really come to love this city.   

我真的喜欢上这个城市了。
