有人说，要表示某人出生在某种家庭，必须用 be born into，不能用 be born in。

比如不能说 be born in a poor family，而要说 be born into a poor family。

是这样吗？in a poor family 不是很正常的表达吗？

be born into  (表示一种动态）生于……样的家庭

Xu himself was born into a poor family.

徐他本人就出生于一个贫困家庭。

It is not given to many of us to be born into a wealthy family. 

我们中并不是有很多人注定要生在富人之家的.

After death, they will be born into the Worlds of Infinite and Merits, and Virtues.

表示"出生"要用be born，并且动词be通常只用was 或were 。be born后可跟形容词、名词或不同的介词，表达意思也不同。

(1)be born + 形容词（名词）

She was born happy.

她生来就很幸福

He was born French.

他生为法国人。

(2)born + in, on等，表示"出生的时间，地点"

Tom was born in Hebei Province on February 12，1999．

1999年2月12日汤姆生于河北省。

Karl Marx was born on May 5，in Trier．

卡尔·马克思5月5日生于特里尔。

Li Ping was born in 1988.

李平生于一九八八年。

(3) be born + of+（名词），表示"从......产生

This invention was born of need.

这项发明是因需要而产生的。

He was born of German parents.

他的父母是德国人。

Her socialist beliefs were born of a hatred of injustice.

她的社会主义信念来自她对社会上不公平现象的痛恨。

He was born of plebeian origins.

他出身平民。

She was born of humble parentage.

她出身卑贱。

(4)be born + in, into或to，表示"降生到某家庭"

He was born in a worker's family.

他出生在一个工人家庭。

In 1867 Madam Curie was born into a teacher's family.

1867年居里夫人出生在一个教师家庭。

(5) be born + with，表示"天赋；命运”生而具有"

He was born with a good memory.

他生来记性就好。

He was born with a squint.

他先天斜视。

She was born with a silver spoon in her mouth.

她生来富贵。
