《牛津英语用法指南》指出：

leave的过去分词left有一种特殊用法可以表示“剩下的”、“未用过的”、“依然存在”的意思。

What did you do with the money that was left? 你对剩下的钱是怎么处理的？

After the exposion, only two people were left alive. 爆炸发生后，只有两个人活了下来。

left常用在there is和have got后面。

There's nothing left in the fridge. 冰箱里什么都没有剩下。

所以，“The left money is all yours.剩下的钱都是你的。”这样表达是错误的，应改为“The money that is left is all yours.”或“The remaining money is all yours.”。不过，left间或也可用作前置定语。如：

left overs残存物；剩余物；（尤指）残羹剩饭

▲当left表示“左”的意义时，可用作前置定语。left hand左手；left side左边；......。你提供的 “The left money is all yours.”可译为：左边的钱全是你的。又如：

At the fork you must take the left road. 到三岔路口，你必须走左边那条路。

有人说：过去分词 left 只用作后置定语，并且通常用于 there is sth left 以及 have sth left 这类句型中。对此我有两个疑问：

1. left 真的是只能用作后置定语，不能用作前定语吗？比如下面的句子算对吗？

回答：如果表示“剩下的” 只能做后置定语修饰其前面的名词，不能作前置定语。

The left money is all yours. 剩下的钱都是你的。(我自己想的句子)

回答：这个句子不对，不可以作前置定语，如果要作前置定语需要使用remaining. 因此正确句子为

The remaining money is yours,

All the remaining money is yours.

所有剩下的钱都是你的。

2. left 用作后置定语时，通常用于 there is sth left 与 have sth left 这类句型——请问：还有哪些“不通常”的句型呢？

回答：left作为动词leave 过去分词形式，成为分词形容词，意思为，所剩下的，剩余的，只可以做后置定语，有时还可以做表语，但是不能作前置定语. 如果一定要作前置定语，需要使用动词remain的现在分词化的形容词。
