home to sb与home of sb的用法与区别
下面是2013年浙江杭州的一道中考英语试题：

本题答案为A，选对答案并不是太难。但其中有一个搭配，不太明白。这里的home后面为什么用介词to而不用介词of呢？另外，home前为什么不用冠词呢？请专家老师分析指导，谢谢！

A is home to B = B makes B's home in A 表示“在A 里生活着 B”。例如：This city is home to about 500 foreign students . = About 500 foreign students make their home in this city . 在这个城市里生活着约500名外国留学生。（2008年7月第1版《外研社英汉多功能词典》home词条）
