书上说得没错，as 可以引导限制性和非限制性定语从句，但当 as 引导限制性定语从句时，它通常要与 such, as, the same 搭配，即构成such…as, the same…as, as…as这样的固定搭配，同时as在从句中充当一定的句子成分。如：

He is not such a fool as he looks. 他并不像看上去的那样愚蠢。

I live in the same place as Tom does. 我和汤姆住在同一个地方。
