▲Neither…nor…可以用于连接句子（即构成“Neither 句子 nor 句子”）。注意neither和nor所连接的两个句都要用部分倒装。如：如：
Neither did I give him coffee nor did I give his wife cake. 我既没有给他倒咖啡，也没有给他妻子拿蛋糕。（剑桥大学出版社《英语教师语法》）
▲Not only…but also…可以用于连接句子（即构成“Not only 句子 but also 句子”）。注意not only后面的句子要用部分倒装，但是but (also)后面的句子不倒装。如：
Not only did he promise to do it, but he did it.他不但答应做，而且做了。（《柯林斯英语语法系列：连词》）
Not only do they need clothing, but they are also short of water. 他们不但需要衣服，而且还缺水。（《英语用法指南》第2版）
