▲如果是用floor来表示楼层，通常与介词on搭配。如：

Our flat is on the first floor and theirs is on the third.  我们的公寓在一楼，他们的公寓在三楼。

My room is on the second floor and his on the third.  我的房间在三楼，他的房间在四楼。

The lawyers’ offices are in the suite on the second floor.  律师的办公室设在二楼的套间。

▲如果是用storey (story) 来表示楼层，则可连用介词in（侧重空间）或on（侧重层面）。如：

He’s living in the second storey. 他住在二楼。

My room is on the second story. 我的房间在二楼。

▲下面一例中用了介词at，因为是把每一层作为一个“点”来看待：

The elevator stops at every floor. 电梯每层都停。
