well表示“很”“非常”

有时表示“很”“非常”要用well，不用very，如 well worth（很值得），如说：

The book is well worth reading.（不能说：very worth）

The film is well worth seeing. （不能说：very worth）

The place is well worth visiting. （不能说：very worth）

我想知道的是：在哪些情况下，表示“很”“非常”，要用well，不能用 very。

be well aware of... 对......很清楚
well down in front 很靠前
sit well back (很往后) in his chair
be well advanced in years （很老）
Though it was well on （已经很晚）in the morning, ...
