你这样看待有道理。确实有语法学者将句中的 while 看作并列连词，相当于 but。例如，何桂金与周开鑫合著的《高级英语语法教程》（P587，重庆出版社，2000）：而章振邦在《新编高级英语语法》（P518）称：夸克等著的《英语语法大全》认为 while 表“对比”时，是从属连词，而不是并列连词：国内薄冰教授、赵振才教授和夸克等观点一致。我个人赞同夸克的观点。

楼上陈老师和蒋老师已解答得非常好。我在此补充一下。如果查外版词典，including 大都是列在介词项下，说明看作介词已是共识。夸克等著的《英语语法大全》（A Comprehensive Grammar of the English Language）提到 including 为“边缘介词”（marginal preposition）（P667）：作为介词的 including 可以作同位语的“标记词”（indicator），用于举例（P1037-1038）：用于举例时，国内薄冰和章振邦二位都采纳“标记词”的说法。
