通过查阅 BNC 和 COCA，“在国内外”最好说 at home and abroad，at 不省略。如果说“来自国内外”，最好说 from home and abroad，省略 at。

这个last week 是状语还是定语
last week 是时间状语。如果作定语，最好改为：Because of last week's illness. 再如：COCA上的例句： The interstate was congested, probably because of last week's rain, she said. Because of last week's change in the agreement, his minimum jumped to about $ 2.35 million.

72changes本身就是 different animals and objects ，每一种变化对应一种动物或物体，变化本身就是动物或物体。 different animals and objects 就是72 changes，是对72 changes的解释说明。不像 The child fell, striking his head against the door and cutting it.明显是结果状语。
