感谢邀请,以下是我个人观点:参考《牛津词典》:down作介词:along; towards the direction in which you are facing 沿着;顺着;朝着。例如:He lives just down the street. Go down the road till you reach the traffic lights. There's a bridge a mile down the river f...

从句的动词形式的采用取决于和主句wish的相对关系,did/were表示与wish同时的动作,had done表示wish之前的动作,would/could/might do表示wish后的动作,注意这里不用sh...

参考牛津词典:这里down是副词,意为:(informal) 到,去,在(当地的商店、酒馆等地方),to or at a local place such as a shop/store, pub, etc. 例如:I'm just going down to the post office. I saw him down at the shops.

The news is exciting。

同学应该了解一下with的复合结构,with his legs crossed和without anyone knowing where it was就是,这里crossed和knowing where it was都宾补,不是伴随状语。
