第一句话没问题，既然已经指出了是The tallest member of our team，就已经明确表明是谁了，不需要再用限制性定语从句来限制先行词，用非限制性定语从句来补充说明即可。第二句话我觉得有一点小小的逻辑错误，你并列了两个主语A boy and his bike，a boy能cross the street，但是bike能cross the street吗？所以第二句话改为A boy on his bike ，who was just crossing the street，was hit by a car.合理一些
