Large amounts of money _____ been spent on the project.

A. have B. has

答案是A。但我想，再多“钱”也还是“钱”，是钱就不可数，不可数就要用单数，对不对？那什么为选B呢？请专家老师解释，谢谢！

是的，答案应选A。谓语动词的数决定于 amount 的数。
